Why Give Online?

Digital resources are valuable tools. In our modern world, many adults no longer use paper checks and rarely carry cash. Many people now make frequent use of a debit card or credit card. This page has been set up to assist members and regular attenders at Beth Eden Baptist Church with making secure, digital, online contributions.

The importance of having a spiritual focus on the way we use our material resources is taught throughout the scriptures. We want to be good stewards of that which the Lord has entrusted to us. Our financial stewardship should be motivated by gratitude and should be expressed in joyful, voluntary, generous, and systematic giving. See 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 and 1 Timothy 6:17-19.

How Does It Work?

To support your stewardship efforts, you may now make contributions to BEBC by means of either an ACH transfer (debit from your bank or credit union account) or credit card transaction. All transactions are processed through the secure giving portal of Faithlife. You may make a one-time gift, or you can set up an automatically recurring contribution.

There are some fees associated with this convenience. A convenience fee of approximately 1% is charged to the church for ACH transfers and 3% for credit card transactions. You may add that amount to your contribution to help cover the expense for the church. But you may also contribute without adding anything to cover the fees, in which case the church will absorb the cost. In either scenario, the entire amount of your transaction will be considered your contribution amount.

To participate in online giving to Beth Eden Baptist Church you will need to set up a free account through our web hosting provider, Faithlife, and then register for Online Giving and join our Church Group. You will receive an email receipt promptly after your online contribution is completed.

For those without a free Faithlife account, there is also a provision to make an anonymous guest contribution. An automated receipt is sent to the donor by email, but no historical record of guest contributions is maintained.

All online contributions are confidential, the same as in-person giving at church. All online contributions here will be included in a comprehensive contribution statement (in-person & online) issued by the Church in January of each year.
