Fall Retreats & Conferences for Adults

Several retreats were held this fall at The Wilds of New England. The Ladies Retreat was held on September 23-24. The Senior Adult Outing was held on September 29. The Couples Conference was held on October 7-8.

We will also have a group of folks attending the New England Foundations Conference on October 15 at Heritage Baptist Church in Dover, NH. There will be wonderful fellowship with like-minded believers from all over New England, helpful Bible teaching, and delicious food.

Lord's Supper Observance

Our next observance of the Lord's Supper will be on November 6, following the morning service. The schedule for future months is as follows: December 4 (PM), January 1 (entire PM), February 5 (AM).

Ladies Meetings

The ladies of the church are all invited to two fall Saturday morning fellowship and testimony meetings. They will be held offsite on October 15 and 29. This will also provide an opportunity to finish the summer Bible study.

Missions Emphasis Day

Our fall Missions Emphasis Day is scheduled for October 23. Our church planting partner, Toby Stevens, and his family will be our guests for the evening. Toby is the church plant pastor of International Baptist Church in East Cambridge, MA.

Quarterly Business Meeting

The next Quarterly Meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 26. The results are posted in the church foyer. They can also be read in the following week's edition of BEBC News.

5th Sunday Fellowship

Our next 5th Sunday Fellowship will be held on October 30. On that Sunday we will alter our schedule for the day. We will hold our normally scheduled Sunday school and morning worship service. That will be followed by a potluck dinner in the fellowship hall. We will close out the afternoon with a brief time of singing, testimonies, and a devotional challenge. There will be no evening service that day.
