We Can Always Count on Our God!

Jul 12, 2023    Pastor Claude Wiggins

This study focuses on three main principles: (1) The Promise of God, a central statement about his abiding presence and absolute faithfulness, vs. 5b. (2) That promise then provides us with The Motivation for Obeying God's Commands, vs. 5a (i.e. resist sin [covetousness] & embrace virtue [contentment]. (3) The promise also stands as The Foundation for our Confidence and Courage so that we are not paralyzed by fear, vs. 6.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear What man shall do unto me.
